OK I (mistakenly) picked up an Atheros 11ac mini-pcie card for a new

OK so what IS supported? ;-) I installed 13.1 and consulted RELEASE
Hardware notes[1] which indicates:
The ath(4) driver supports all Atheros Cardbus and PCI cards, except
those that are based on the AR5005VL chipset.

Note: PCI means PCI, not PCIe. :) The ath(4) driver supports the old PCI
and CardBus adapters. It doesn't support PCIe, USB, M.2, or other
formfactor adapters.

While slightly ambiguous, the hardware notes are technically correct.
Sure OK. I simply moved down to the "Wireless Network Interfaces" to see
if I could discover exactly *which* Atheros numbers I could safely buy
to use FreeBSD effectively on my new laptop. You know; like:
Atheros m.2. Which I could then compare to those indicated by FreeBSD as
being supported.
Oh well. I guess I'm stuck with the numbers given on the ath_hal(4) man page.
Maybe that's the complete list?

Thanks for taking the time to reply, Freddie! :-)
