I am sorry; I hadn't fully realised; if you load the driver from
loader you'd have to load the fimrware manually as well as otherwise
there's no file system yet to load it from.
Problem is the loader.conf syntax doesn't allow you to say,
foo-bar-baz_load="YES".
My suggestion is to instead load the module from rc.conf adding
kld_list="if_iwlwifi"
there or exteding the line accordingly (in case there is some drm module
there already).
ah ok cool - let me give this a spin and let you know how it goes. i
think that is how i got it working previous when i was testing your patches.
