Hi all. Is there a way to clear the receive buffer for packets that are captured before one sets bpf filters ?
Like... on the box where my application runs, there is a lot of traffic. When i open the selected adapter with pcap_open there is sometimes a lot of packets captured before i get to apply the bpf filter, and i would very much like to be able to clear the receive buffer just after the filter is applied. This way my application doesnt get any packets that havent been filtered. Can this be done ? Regards / J.
