Subject: [WinPcap-users] How to block a packet going to the system
level?

Hi,

Winpcap is an excellent library and I have been
using it to build some multicast testing tools.
I want to write one application to block my
son's instant message under certain conditions.
I have two questions:

1) After "read_packet(&system_packet)", what happen
to this packet? I guess that it goes to
   Window operating system.

2) How can I block a packet to the window OS
   after examining its content?

If winpcap cannot block, is there other method to
block packets or a particular UDP/TCP ports?

Thank you very much

Kwun-Nan Lin
