I am using WinPcap 2.3 to send packets through the network adapter \Device\Packet_NdisWanBh\
and everything seems to be all right. I have captured the packets with Ethereal and/or with the function "pcap_loop()" and it indicates that the packets are really sent. But the problem is that I never get a response.
I have tried sending a ping request. When I use the LAN Network Adapter, it works very good but when I use the NetWork Adapter for dialup connection, it doesn't. I'm using the example "Sending a single packet with pcap_sendpacket" that comes with the tutorial.
I'm sure that I have built the packets correctly because Ethereal so indicates it. Of course, I'm sending the packets with different source IP addresses depending on the outgoing Network Adapter. The packets I send are packets that I have captured previously.
I have noticed that my modem's leds don't turn on when I try to send the packet with pcap_sendpacket(). In my opinion, what is happening is that the packets are not really sent to the network!
I have tried using WinPCap 3.01.a but the System (I'm using Windows XP) doesn't find the dialup connections' Network Adapters.
I would be very grateful if you could help me. I can't find the problem.
Best regards,
Salva.
