There are only two files with x86-specific assembler.
One is just a single stack correction and the second is a series doing byte-swapping
for the packet.
Neither should be hard to alter for IA64 - is there a loopback test that one can
watch/use to test the packet ordering?

Subject: [WinPcap-users] WinPCap on Itanium servers, I could test.

Hi,

a friend told me he will soon receive a rack of 4 Itanium 64 bit servers, one of these
http://www.hp.com/products1/itanium/

I thought of recompiling our WinPCap based application, but that requires setting up
many things for a fast test of 2 hours. Any suggestion on what I could compile to see
how WinPCap performs in such environment? May be the famous test that was used to
determine the packet loss percentage in FreeBSD, Linux and Windows. In that case I'd
appreciate clear instructions on what to do.
