+AD4-
+AD4-
+AD4- Hello,
+AD4-
+AD4- It is so glad that it has been added with the remote capturing features
+AD4- in the new release, though it is just an experimental version.
+AD4-
+AD4- However, I am trying to look for the way to get the information
+AD4- of the remote interface. This feature has not yet been implemented
+AD4- in Analyzer, and I hardly find any sample as well.
Analyzer 3.0 has it.
However, 3.0 is out just for +ACI-take a look at+ACI- purposes+ADs- it is not a
+ACI-final+ACI- release.
+AD4- I tried to use pcap+AF8-findalldevs+AF8-ex to locate the remote interface,
+AD4- but it seems not working. Can you give me an idea in this.
Is the rpcap daemon (rpcapd) up and running?
Do you see any traffic from your host toward the daemon (tcp and port 2002)?
The example +ACI-iflist+ACI- in the developer's packet will be updated soon.
+AD4- Besides,
+AD4- I also face problem when I tried to compile the rpcap daemon on Linux
+AD4- from the source. Is there any ways that I can make it run on Linux as
+AD4- what you have stated in the doc, (it is working on Linux too).
I'm currently working to make it running on BSD as well.
The problem is a mess with makefiles and such things.
I think we'll be able to public an +ACI-experimental+ACI- version of WinPcap with all
these modifications next week.
If this does not happen, please send me a reminder (something like wed - thu).
Thanks for your patience,
fulvio
