Hi WinPcap-users!
How does PacketGetAdapterNames work under
Windows NT 4.0 ? It seems that PacketGetAdapterNames from
PacketNTx->Dll->packet32.c doesn't work properly and WinPcap uses
another method to detect adapters under Windows NT 4.0. I make a trace file of
PacketGetAdapterNames procedure and I've got the follows:
PacketGetAdapterNames: BufferSize=4096
Need 2 bytes for the names PacketGetAdapterNames: Cycling through the adapters: Adapters not found under SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class. Using the TCP/IP bindings. The file winpcap_debug.txt is empty.
Yours sincerely,
Alex Bash
