Well, it shoudn't do that.
Normally, winpcap is not able to sniff on ndiswan adapters and sometimes it
causes weird problems like stopping the networking, but it doesn't crash the
machine.
What kind of ndiswan adapter are you talking about? NisdWanIP? NisdWanBH?
You can use windump -D to determine it.
