I am attempting to use products that use winpcap. None of them are
capturing. I downloaded windump.exe and ran it on the machines that are
experiencing the problems and I get this error message upon execution:
Windump.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point pcap_findalldevs could not be locatedin the
dynamic link library wpcap.dll.
I am using winpcap 2.3 freshly downloaded from your web site. The systems
are Windows 2000 professional and server. Most of the possible configuration
variables are covered:
Win2k pro/server
service pack 2/3 and no service pack
intel and 3com nics
uninstalled, reinstalled
fresh install, old install
it works on only one machine and i can't pinpoint the differences. I
followed all your troubleshooting steps in FAQ.
