Hi All, I can't find an answer to this one in the FAQ or archives, so here goes:
I had previously installed and enjoyed Winpcap on my Windows 2000 system. Recently I tried upgrading to Winpcap 2.3. Suddenly, none of my Winpcap programs can find any valid interfaces. I did just what the FAQ said not to do, I forgot to uninstall Winpcap 2.2 before installing 2.3. However, once I realized I could have made a mistake, I uninstalled both copies. Now neither will re-install successfully. I have noticed that some registry entries do not get created (specifically the NPF entries), and that the drivers are not loaded when Windows starts. However, I can't figure out how to resolve the situation. Any assistance is appreciated. --Wes
