SMP machine problem?
This is the main difference between 2.2 and 2.3: v2.2 did not check the
precence of more than 1 CPU, so it seems to work, but the results can be
wrong; v2.3 checks if more than 1 CPU is present, and therefore blocks the
loading of the driver.
