Dear all Wikimedia UK will be holding our AGM on *Saturday 21st September* this year. The meeting will be held online from 10am to 11.30am and will feature:
- Reports from the Chair, Chief Executive, Head of Finance and Honorary Treasurer - Elections for new Trustees, and voting on resolutions - Presentation of new Honorary Memberships - Presentation about our organisational strategy for 2025 - 2030 There are three vacancies for elected trustees at this year's AGM, with one existing trustee intending to stand for re-election. If you are interested in standing for election do feel free to contact me to arrange a quick call, where I can tell you more about the work of the board, requirements of trustees and the election process. To vote at the AGM and to stand for the board you need to be a Wikimedia UK member. This costs just £5 a year so please consider signing up here <https://wikimedia.org.uk/wiki/Membership> if you are not already a member. We are also working on plans for an online Community Day later this year - similar to our November 2023 event - where we will present the Wikimedian of the Year awards and hopefully hear inspiring stories from our community.
