Well it's worth mentioning (for those who don't know) that WLM's "easy upload" process continues to work all year round -- the only difference is that your photographs won't count towards the competition proper. So if find yourself with a stack of photographs you didn't get round to uploading, you don't have to wait to next year to upload them. Indeed, Wikipedia (and other reusers) start benefiting immediately, so an early upload is actively the moral thing to do. (Though the cynic in me suggests holding back any potential award winners...)
