Dear Wikimedians, Registration for Wikimania 2026 is now open. <https://wikimania.wikimedia.org/wiki/2026:Registration> If you would like to attend in person, please submit your request for invitation as soon as possible. Each requester will receive a response via email within fourteen (14) days of when they submitted their request, upon completion of the trust and safety check. If you are self-funding and receive a confirmation email, the email will contain a link to complete your payment in order to secure your ticket. You will then have 7 days to secure your ticket by initiating payment of the conference fee. The window to submit requests for invitation will close on 1 May or once we are at maximum capacity for the venue. If we hit maximum capacity, additional prospective attendees will be able to add themselves to the waitlist. Those planning to attend Wikimania virtually can register up to 24 hours before the event begins.
