Dear all, This is a gentle reminder, the regular South Asia Open Community Call will be a closed call this time, designed specifically for South Asia Wikimedians, and will take place on 21 December (Today) at 6:00 PM.
Rather than hosting two separate calls, OKI, the Wikimedia Foundation, and the South Asia call organizers agreed to collaborate and create one shared space to support a meaningful, safe, and constructive discussion. We will reserve 15 minutes toward the end of the call for community members to briefly share updates on their ongoing work. Registration required: Participation will be based on prior sign-up to help maintain a focused and respectful space- *here <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Event:Navigating_Contexts_%26_Upholding_Editorial_Freedom:_A_South_Asia_Community_Conversation>* *Topic*: How we strengthen Wikimedia’s values of neutrality, openness, and editorial freedom across diverse local contexts *Date*: 21 December 2025 (*Add to Calendar) <https://calendar.google.com/calendar/event?action=TEMPLATE&tmeid=Nm5kOTY2N2NkbThudmh1bXZiOGgyMXFpMXUgbWthdXJAd2lraW1lZGlhLm9yZw&tmsrc=mkaur%40wikimedia.org>* *Duration*: 60 minutes *Who can join*: South Asia community and affiliate members *Format*: Online (English) Please sign up via the event registration page.
