Two different CIS staff travelled for Wikimania in Poland, Europe. It is not clear what was the need for two staff members travelling. One staff member had a presentation while the other informed me that he was for A2K work.Earlier the report did not mention Pavan Santosh but I am grateful to him that he responded and made the changes to the report. One can check from the edit history. However, the exact reason for why there was need for him to travel is not clear when other CIS staff was already present. I am writing this message to have a discussion and convince CIS with community inputs to spend public money very carefully and Europe trips may not be the best option. There are many areas where the community needs funds and it will lead to community growth. I have no intention to defame anyone.
