Hi all, *Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 in India <https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Monuments_2024_in_India>* is a part of the international Wiki Loves Monuments competition, the largest photography competition in the world, and helps Wikipedia document monuments and heritage buildings. The 2024 edition, organized by the West Bengal Wikimedians User Group <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/West_Bengal_Wikimedians>, continues the tradition of encouraging people to capture and share images of monuments and historical sites across India which has been an important part of preserving and sharing the country’s rich architectural and historical heritage through photographs. The competition has just started and it will run *till 30th September 2024*.
The competition is open to all photographers from amateurs to professional, we invite you to join us, *upload images of heritage monuments* of our country to Wikimedia Commons, win exciting prizes and make this event a grand one!
