Greetings, We are delighted to inform you about the Free Wikimedia Technology Training - 2022. We’re hosting a series of online training sessions from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM IST scheduled every weekend (Saturday & Sunday) from 10th September to 14th November 2022. This training helps the volunteers interested in learning WikiTech from the basics and open to technophiles, CS Students and professionals. Registration Link: https://forms.gle/ueFersfQXiKDyAKY6 *Advantages* - Training by Wikimedia stakeholders who have hands-on experience in technical volunteering. - MediaWiki services provide a rich core feature set and a mechanism to attach extensions to provide additional functionality. - The Wikimedia movement is the totality of people, activities, and values which revolve around Wikimedia sites and projects with - Learn to build powerful extensions, and packages, which lets you build whole applications on top of the platform. - The principles of free cultural works mean that anyone can use Wikimedia without restriction, including commercially. - Participants who have successfully completed training will be invited to participate in the Wikitech hackathon 2022, and certificates will be provided. The object of these training programs is to promote the use of software resources that extend content contributors' and consumers' capabilities and insights beyond those provided by the core wiki experience.
