Thanks again for organizing this, Travis; I was glad to participate.

Thanks to Peter for being on the panel too, who we weren't sure was
going to make it.
Thanks,

Hi folks,
I just wanted to send a note this morning to let everyone know
that our Tuesday Oct 7 event at the SF Public Library, North Beach
branch, was a huge success!
We had about a dozen members of the public in the audience as we
presented some slides on Wikipedia, commons, and the process of
adding an article. We then opened the floor for a panel discussion
and Q&A, and had some really good topics discussed.
I want to thank our librarian Charlie for reaching out and setting
up the event for us. I'd also like to thank Emeline for fielding
the initial contact and seizing the opportunity.
And of course, huge thanks to our BAWUG folks who were there to
present and be on the panel: Pax, Nathan Han, Nathan Holmes-King,
Michelle, Lucas and Emeline!
Events like this really give us an opportunity to share our
expertise and reach out to the community to spark interest in the
Wikimedia Movement, so I am very thankful for the opportunity and
all the work everyone put in to make it possible.
Thank you again to all!
Thanks,
-Travis
