October meetup summary
We have elected our first formal organizing committee (OC), and amended the
governance document to add "Keeping track of members eligible for voting" to
the OC's duties. All details here:
https://meta.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/Bay_Area_Wikipedians_User_Group/Membership_and_governance
We also:
- heard the report on the very successful SFPL panel;
- discussed learnings from the [GLAM
camp](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/DC/Wikimedia_DC_GLAM_Camp_2025);
- discussed outreach initiatives proposed by members;
- reminded those eligible about the Board of Trustees election:
https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_elections/2025
- helped each other with editing
And of course enjoyed pizza, company and got some editing done.
