Following discussions in the last couple meetups about the [North American

I [wrote in support of the
initiative](https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:North_American_Wikimedians/Hub_founding#Would_your_group_sign_on%3F_How_should_the_agreement_text_be_revised%3F)
on behalf of the user group.
(We haven't received a reply from the Affiliation Committee yet)
