Thank you Paulo for raising this topic. I am very much concerned too and I hope 
that the WMF provides a detailed public statement about how it is addressing 
this issue and why acted this way.

The privacy and safety of all Wikipedians is at stake with precedents like this 
one. At any moment, we can start seeing an enormous number of new European 
cases like this one.
