Dear all, On behalf of the Dagbani Wikimedians user group <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Dagbani_Wikimedians_User_Group>, I am very excited to share some great news with you. The Wikimedia foundations's newest project, Wikifunctions <https://www.wikifunctions.org/>, is finally coming to the Dagbani Wikipedia.
On September 13, 2024, the Dagbani Wikipedia was selected as the first Wikipedia for Wikifunctions integration <https://www.wikifunctions.org/wiki/Wikifunctions:Status_updates/2024-09-13> . Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, *April 15*, D <https://dag.wikipedia.org/>agbani Wikipedia <https://dag.wikipedia.org/> editors will be able to call and integrate functions directly into Dagbani Wikipedia articles. This new capability will help volunteers perform tasks such as adding up numbers, converting distances, calculating time differences, or even transforming words into different grammatical cases. All with just a few clicks! Traditionally, these tasks would require complex templates that are tricky to create or import. With Wikifunctions, it's simpler, faster, and automated.
