Dear Everyone -
I am reaching out to announce the results of the recent Affiliations Committee appointments. On behalf of the Committee, thank you to all who applied to join and to those who supported this process. The Affiliations Committee is also grateful to HakanIST and Aaryaa Joshi who recently completed their terms as Advisory Members to the Affiliations Committee. The Affiliations Committee is happy to share that Aleksey Chalabyan and Lucas Teles have been appointed to the Affiliations Committee as Voting Members with terms ending 28 February 2028. Aleksey continues from his previous term as a Voting Member and Lucas transitioned from a one-year term as an Advisory Member. Following their previous terms as Advisory Members, Delphine Ménard, Juan Bautista Alegre, and Nyinawumuntu Jeannette Rebecca have agreed to extend their terms as Advisory Members ending 28 February 2026. Following his term as a Voting Member, Maor Malul requested to transition to an advisory role with a term ending 28 February 2026. I am also excited to share that Bobby Shabangu, Robert Jamal, and Tochi Precious have also accepted to join the committee as Advisory Members with terms ending 28 February 2026. We look forward to having their valuable insights and perspectives as they join the Committee. The Affiliations Committee appreciates all candidates for putting their names forward as well as the support of the Board liaisons and staff who participated in the process.
