Dear friends, We have published the Odia Wikimedians User Group's 2023-2024 annual report at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Odia_Wikimedians_User_Group/Annual_Report/2023-2024 .
It contains updates on our strategic initiatives' impact during this fiscal year. Among others, we organised/actively participated in nine successful edit-a-thons; partnered with the Odisha state (provincial) government and engaged a few thousand participants during an international Odia-language conference; and contributed to the Odia Wikipedia, Wikisource, Wiktionary, Wikidata and other Wikimedia projects, and the larger movement. As an outcome of our work, 21M unique visitors visited Odia Wikipedia, and the total number of articles grew by 3K thanks to 13 active of the 112 total editors. We welcome you to check out the report and share feedback/questions. It goes without saying that the outcomes mentioned in this report are an outcome of the collective effort by our active User Group members. We are thankful to fellow Wikimedians from different Wikimedia communities who we got to collaborate with, and Wikimedia affiliate and Foundation staff who supported us.
