You can just upload the TimedText files to Wikimedia Commons, so other people
can translate it to any language. That should be the best practice for every
video.

Thanks

Hi Galder,

Sorry for the delayed reply. We're thrilled about the progress with the
documentary.

Regarding your request for the documentary without subtitles in the video, we
currently have the files, but they haven't been uploaded to Wiki Commons yet.
To facilitate sharing, we can provide you with a TimedText file separately.
This way, you'll have the flexibility to manage subtitles without any issues.

Could you please let us know the preferred method for sharing these files with
you? We want to ensure a smooth and convenient process.

Looking forward to your guidance on this.

Best regards,

Bharathesha Alasandemajalu

These are great news!
Would it be possible to have the documentary without subtitles in the video,
but as a TimedText file? Embedding subtitles directly in the video makes it
impossible to resubtitle, and should be avoided.

Thanks

Galder

offering accessibility to a broader audience.

Additionally, we are excited to share that there is a write-up about the
documentary in the Wikimedia Diff
