Thanks Siebrand, this was really helpful. I have asked at the reception, they said a nearby oxxo store has sim cards. I was there, but they only had regular sim cards, and I needed micro sim (nexus 4, android 5).
I went to Telcel. It was easier than expected (after looking at your instructions) but it is strangely complicated just to buy a sim card. The only step I did not need is calling a number.
