Alternatively, I'm worked out that the only appliances I'll be taking that
will need charging during the time I'm away are my iPhone and iPad (same
connector - pre iPhone 5).  I'm sure I can just get a HK/UK Apple charger
(or even an HK/UK to USB charging adaptor) fairly cheaply at the airport.
 It's also entirely feasible that some places may even have USB charging
ports, although I won't be counting on it (can any of the Wikimania team
confirm or deny?).
