You don't have to keep up with the latest release though. Many people
are using 1.2, and even though 1.3 is better any many ways, 1.2 is
good enough for a lot of production sites. This will be the same way
with 1.3 vs 2.0, especially since the differences won't be huge.

The advantages of 2.0 over 1.3 are the incorporation of Java 5
features. The gain is primarily a better API (with generics support).
We'll pick up 2.0 (or 1.4, as we haven't decided on the numbering yet)
when we have a satisfying release for 1.3. This summer.
