Hi guys, I'm just writing a simple "portal" application, where users can upload files, i.e. images that will be displayed on their sites, but should not be accessible for unregistered users, i.e the outer world.
Now I take it it's the common approach to store only the files paths' to the database and put the files somewhere on the disk. My question is now where would that be? Would you put them in the /WEB-INF/ dir? If, how can I get the /web-inf/ path? Or would you put them somewhere else?
