Thanks Dan — glad you liked the dials, the smooth movement was the bit I'd
been chasing for years.

It should be light. There's nothing to install into weeWX: Fenland is
static HTML and JavaScript, so you clone it, put your coordinates in
config.js, point it at your existing Belchertown JSON, and serve the
folder. No extension, no Cheetah, nothing touching your database.

Since you already run Belchertown, the History and Stats tabs will work
straight away — they just read its chart JSON. Forecast, ensemble, climate
and radar need nothing but your lat/lon, so those work regardless.

The only part that wants MQTT is the live dashboard, the dials and tiles.
If you'd rather not run a broker, it can poll a JSON file containing the
loop packet instead — John Kline's weewx-loopdata writes exactly that sort
of file, and Fenland has a field-name map for lining the keys up. I haven't
tested that combination myself, so I'd be interested to hear how it goes if
you try it.

Or skip the dashboard entirely and use the forecast side alongside your
existing Belchertown pages.

That works fine too....
