Christmas is over, and what a lovely one it was. My mother in law normally
gives "soft" gifts, which is allways a pleassure. But this year she really
took me by surprise. At some point I have mentioned that I was really happy
with my weatherstation from EcoWitt. And did she pick that statement up,
indeed she did. I got for presents this year a humidity meassurer, a
tempereture and humidity sensor and a lightning sensor. So was I glad. Oh
yes I was.

And further more I have just put in the batteries and opened my weather
apps. Both the one on EcoWitt.net and WeeWX. And to my big surprise I
didn't have to touch anything they registered automatically with the
gateway GW3000 and automatically new data and graphs appeared in WeeWX. I
am speechless to be honest. No registration, no fidling with config files
no reboot or restart of anything. It was the smoothest addition I have ever
experienced.

I am really happy with the choice of EcoWitt and the EcoWitt ecosystem. And
WeeWX ofcause!

Happy holidays and happy new year to you all. And thanks for the help over
the years.
