i think the weatherlink console is just a display (with a local app and storage) and proxy to send to davis’ cloud - no useful interface to RPi. RPi would need to get data either from davis’ cloud (a subscription *grrr*) or via radio from VP2 ISS. you will not get assistance from davis on bypassing their cloud. there are several ways to get via radio - but be aware that ISS does frequency hopping of data fragments, with the hops different for each region (no single frequency). i have explored the following: (1) rtl433. rtldavis app understands the hopping for US, EU and (i think) NZ and feeds it into rtldavis driver. i thought i found the AU frequencies but couldn't get it to work (i think hostile radio environment). (2) davis envoy with serial/usb datalogger [the original davis interface]. envoy understands the frequency hopping and passes to weewx vantage driver. davis seem to actively discourage it nowadays. i use this today in production. (3) meteostick. 3rd party usb stick that is drop-in substitute for envoy/datalogger. i had disappointing results with this (i think hostile radio environment). ⊣GE⊢
