Stop weewx.  Delete the database.  Edit your .conf file to your liking. 
 Start weewx.   Not too difficult to accomplish.

Many (many) people run weewx as delivered as-is on installation to run the 
simulator with default settings to incrementally add their extensions and 
desired skins 'before' trying to run live vs. their station.   I'd strongly 
suggest all new users do so to get their feet wet and learn the product and 
how it works.
