The wee_xyz commands do not exist in weewx v5. They were all replaced by weectl and its various options. See https://www.weewx.com/docs/5.1/utilities/weectl-about/ for details.
You should also update to current 5.1.0 when you get a chance after you get things working. There is a significant bug in 5.0.0 that was fixed in later releases.
