Well that depends: 1. What version of Raspbian is the RPi2 using? 2. Do you have any device-specific items on i2c or via GPIO?
If it is a RPI4 and the RAM is over 4GB (eg 8gb version), then you should consider setting up the new Raspberry Pi OS 64bit release. Another consideration is to update the micro-sd card to another newer card or use a USB drive. The new RPI4s (newer than Sept 2020) support boot from USB Device.
