'iris' seems to refer to the 5-in-1 instrument cluster - apparently a way to retroactively distinguish from the 'atlas' instrument cluster. there are many ways of getting data from a 5-in-1 cluster, including the 'hd display', the 'direct-to-wifi display'. the interceptor listens to a device that is sending to weather underground (among other interception techniques). so it will get data from the 'access' (the device that bridges a 5-in-1 or atlas to internet) or the 'direct-to-wifi display'. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
