During a AWS outage a few months back, my WLL failed to update WeeWX. Nothing wrong with the WLL, my Internet, WeeWX. It seemed to depend on the Internet though I only was looking for local data.
It's my understanding that the WLL does have a logger function, saves data until it can be transmitted. That is NOT available to you. There is no call to the WLL that a user can use to get the data. It will only send to Davis. The data is available from Davis with some WLL driver, I forget which one. That needs a paid account and it goes to the Davis website/server to get the historical data.
