My new Eurocron EFWS2900 doesn't have the menu alternatives "DST on/off"
and "Time zone" as it should, according to the manual.

Since last weekend we don't have DST compensation but it still always shows
"DST". And if I try to set the hours manually (to anything), it change back
in seconds to correct time *but *compensated for DST. The local network
time is correct (no DST), but I think the WS may connect to something
undocumented on Internet and get the time (?), although connections as
weather data uploads to any standard cloud service are disabled.

Just after unpacking and setup it asked to be updated with a new SW, which
I allowed. Could it be a bug in that SW ? The manufacturer (Conrad) only
tells me to send it back and also that their technician thinks it NEEDS to
be connected to a real Ecowitt server to disable DST. I don't think so, of
course it must also work stand alone.

Anybody else that also miss the menu alternatives "DST" and "Time zone" ?
