This issue came up back in 2014. If you look at this thread you will see a 
SLE that I wrote to do this. It is a weeWX v2 SLE so not compatible with 
weeWX v3 though when the thread resurfaced in 2015 Vince put together a v3 
compatible version. Alternatively, there is a v3 compatible version in the 
weeWX-WD code (file wdSearchX3.py I think) on bitbucket.
