Something like that - yes.

Try and actually design a system!!

There is no reason why your rpi cannot be a web server as well as capturing 
your weaher station data.

There is no reason why your airfield site cannot include pages from the rpi 
web server rather than the rpi sending the pages to another site.

The possibilities are countless.

Weewx exists for one main purpose - o archive the weather data.

A side effect is that it can generate reports from the archived data - 
which can be used by a website and web server.

It is not a real time display system, although there are many ways that the 
dat can be used to achieve something close to real time ........

Think, design and implement ..... do not expect a solution on a plate ....
