Good reply. Just a little historical background.
One of the major reasons to switch to Java was the availability of JDBC adaptors. People were not writing Obj-C database adaptors. For the enterprise, without access to Enterprise Databases, we would be dead in the water. Are there lots of people jumping on the Obj-C database adaptors for Core Data on OS X?
