Hi Ramsey :-)

one additional java 7 problem we have seen with our Java GUI apps. We are using a Mac bundle containing a plist and the "JavaApplicationStub" in the Contents/MacOS folder. This is not working anymore.

Here is some information related to it.

Hi Helmut :-)

I just installed it this morning before work. Didn't get a chance to launch an
app, but I did set the java prefs. I also set the JDK in eclipse prefs. So
hopefully everything will work.

Hi Ramsey,

we installed JRE-7 for test deployment of our WebShare solution using
WebObjects 5.4.3, it works fine, we cannot find any deployment problems. For
development I have no information so far.

One tip, in the OS X Utilities Java Preferences you can must turn on Java7,
however it looks like that this setting is per user and not per system so root
server processes still use the old jre, I believe you need to login an root to
set it. We use the direct path to the java 7 runtime to overcome this.
