Thanks once again to the power of The (community mailing) List. In composing an email to the list to seek help for a problem that I was having, the solution to the problem emerged (as it often does) by just evoking the possibility of asking The List. I'm not sure if this is a question of my application being afraid of The List or if it is just a matter that it tries harder when it knows that consulting The List is imminent. Either way, the illuminating section of documentation or ancient list history is revealed and the question is answered.
It's that or I may just be tired. Either way, I owe The List a beer in Montreal. (don't get your hopes up... a beer for the list does not necessarily mean a beer for every member of the list ... do I look like a brewery to you?... don't answer that.
