don't laugh but I thought I tried the awakeFromInsertion method. Then, I looked
again I realize I put it on the wrong EO. So here is the awakeFromInsertion and
it does what I want:
public void awakeFromInsertion (EOEditingContext editingContext) {
super.awakeFromInsertion (editingContext);
/*
* set the default row color to none
*/
this.setRowColor(RowColor.fetchRequiredRowColor(editingContext,
RowColor.ROW_COLOR_NAME.eq("None")));
}
