Under ubuntu 12.04 default postgres version is 9.0 I saw a few email in the pass 3 mounts on the list about little issue, don't know they solve it or they downgrade.
I guest there is not so much user under 12.04 yet. But, it will change soon I think with some speed improvement discus by Massimo that you only can have under python 2.7.x I plan to migrate before the end of the year.
