Hello, Anyone have any ideas why the same website over ssl is loading much slower. I mean mostly images and static content. I am aware of small overhead on first request with ssl and handshakes, but images and other static files load noticeably slower.
I am running on nginx and ubuntu 12.04. Using script from slices, with some changes (added my own ssl certs etc). --
