My requirement is also to install my web2py application to ubuntu running on amazon cloud , but before that i need to setup the prerequisite(web2py framework, apache, database etc..) to ubuntu, so just going through the script shared by pbreit..meanwhile i am trying to get the amazon cloud (Amazon image and instances) if everything get finalized then will just try to install any web2py sample application to ubuntu running on amazon cloud at that time i may need help from you ppl.It is very initial phase so I am just trying to learn all aspects of setting it up And frankly saying you guys are amazing , i never thought of getting this much of support from you guys in such a short span of time..hats off to you guys...
