This seems even more significant than I realized .. It seems after getting in by manually editing the URL, after janrain auth, I am unable to use the admin application .. it now claims, admin interface is disabled because password file was not found.
I have now disabled janrain by deleting the janran.key file .. and then restarting the web server (apache) .. still can't get into admin interface .. I have even regenerated the admin password .. still no change cleared my web browser cache ,, and tried with firefox (was using chromium before) .. still no change. In fact it appears as if using any port besides 80 for web2py deployment under apache using mod_wsgi is likely not to work well .. Please, can someone help me confirm this. Thanks.
